This Privacy Policy explains how Savehands Goalkeeping Ltd ("SGK", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use savehandsgk.com or any of our coaching services, camps and programmes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who We Are

Savehands Goalkeeping Ltd is a specialist goalkeeping coaching organisation registered in Scotland (company number SC596350), with its registered office at 71 Woodland Crescent, Glasgow, G72 8QW. We are the "data controller" for the personal information described in this policy.

Contact us at info@savehandsgk.com or on 07738 923 403.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our website and services, we may collect:

  • Parent or guardian details: name, email address, phone number, and any message you send us.
  • Goalkeeper details: name, year of birth, current club, preferred location, and information about their goalkeeping development, such as coaching feedback, development plans, match analysis and video.
  • Booking and payment information: details of sessions, camps and products you book. Payments are handled by our payment and booking providers, and we do not store full card details.
  • Photos and video taken at sessions, camps and events (see section 6).
  • Website usage data: technical information such as your IP address, device, browser, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: emails, messages and enquiries you send us, including through our website forms.
3. Children's Information

Many of our goalkeepers are under 18. We collect information about children from their parent or guardian, and we ask that parents or guardians make bookings and enquiries on their child's behalf. We only collect the information we need to coach and look after each goalkeeper safely and effectively. Our website is not designed for direct use by children.

4. How We Use Your Information
  • To respond to enquiries and arrange free taster sessions.
  • To manage bookings, attendance, payments and communications about sessions, camps and events.
  • To deliver coaching, individual development plans, reports and feedback.
  • To keep goalkeepers safe, including contacting parents or guardians in an emergency.
  • To send updates, news and offers where you have agreed to receive them.
  • To run, secure and improve our website and understand how it is used.
  • To meet our legal and insurance obligations.
5. Our Lawful Bases

We process personal information on the following bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract: where we need to process information to provide a service you have booked.
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, keep our website secure and communicate with existing customers, where this does not override your rights.
  • Consent: for marketing emails, optional cookies, and photos or video, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep records or share information by law.
6. Photos and Video

We may take photos and video at sessions, camps and events to coach, to review technique and to promote SGK on our website and social media. We will ask for parental or guardian consent before using images of a child in our marketing. You can withdraw consent or ask us to remove an image at any time by contacting info@savehandsgk.com.

7. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run SGK, and only as needed. These include providers of website hosting, booking and payments, email and communications, website analytics and advertising, and online forms. We also share information with coaches and staff who need it to deliver sessions, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires.

Where we use a provider to process your information, we require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions.

8. International Transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred abroad, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as approved contractual clauses or adequacy arrangements.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. As a guide, enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months if no booking follows, and booking, payment and coaching records are kept for as long as a goalkeeper is with us and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and insurance requirements. Safeguarding and incident records may be kept longer where the law requires.

10. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies make the site work. With your consent, we also use cookies to measure how the site is used and to support our advertising. You can accept or decline optional cookies using the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through your browser settings.

11. Marketing

We will send you marketing emails if you have enquired to Savehands Goalkeeping or are an existing customer, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

12. Keeping Information Secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information, including restricting access to those who need it. No system is completely secure, so please take care when sending information online.

13. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you or your child.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information.
  • Ask for your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email info@savehandsgk.com. We will respond within one month.

14. Complaints
