Savehands Goalkeeping  weekly Academies weekly Academies covers all aspects of goalkeeping in a safe and fun environment.

WHY SAVEHANDS GOALKEEPING ?

  • Our academies work to our development  curriculum covering our goalkeeping principles.
  • Each Goalkeeper receives there own IDP ( Individual Development Plan). The IDP cover a 8 week period which gives the goalkeeper and the parent a clear path to their own development within the academy.
  • Our coaching team works to the principle of REF for each session to develop the goalkeeper.             

 REF - RELEVANT , ENGAGING AND FUN

  • At our academies we work a maximum ratio 1 coach to 8 goalkeepers.​
  • Groups are formed by age or  development age

​"We discovered the academy by accident and my son joined an Easter camp. It was at a time that he realised he loved goalkeeping but just didn't get any coaching in his own team.

Almost 4 years later, he is in the intermediate academy and enjoys being with fellow goalkeepers and gets so much out of the discipline, support, coaching and drills that the team run through and the training is very clear in his game. I couldn't recommend the academy any higher for the development of young goalkeepers in their technique and ability.
